.: On the Journey :.: Another Very Good Day

It is 10:30pm here and I have already been warned that I need to get to bed early tonight as we have an earlier day tomorrow. Today, we did not go to the baby orphanage until 3pm, so we were able to sleep in and relax a bit. We did a load white and dark laundry, then waited to head on our way. The only downfall was that our driver got into a traffic jam because of some construction, so was late picking us up. Nonetheless, we were only 10minutes late in getting to our scheduled time at the orphanage.... he is a great driver! :-) It took us 2-hours to get back to our hotel because of traffic as well. Yikes ... lots of traffic here in St. Pete!

We had a great day at the baby home! Out little guy was very active and alert today. On our last visit he was calm while we held him, but today he wanted to be all over the room. He was running, giggling, smiling, babbling a bit... he was all over the place. He settled a few times to allow us to hold and read to him, but otherwise he wanted to be on the floor playing with us, which was just fine too! We both felt somewhat exhausted after the 1h 40min session! :-)

Again, we took LOTS of pics and video, but we can not post any of it! :-( So, instead I will post a few pics below of some of the other Buddy Bears we saw yesterday to honor some of the other couples we know who are in the process of adopting as well.

Well, I am going to finish my dinner of smoked fish (mackerel) and caviar... don't think I have just come into money... over here the caviar is pretty inexpensive. I got a pretty full-size jar for $2, so thought I would try it. Conclusion: it's good, but really doesn't have a lot of flavor. Leslie even tried it and said it didn't taste like much... "just kinda salty". Man, our garbage is really gonna stink tomorrow. Sorry, Ms Cleaning-lady! :-) Have a good night all... well, afternoon there! :-)
