And so it begins ... again

Well, I started this blog some time ago to try to do better at keeping more up to date with friends and share family pictures and general musings, but realized I didn't have many pictures and I had even less musings!  :-)  Nonetheless, along came FB and several other media outlets that sorta made blogging seem not so necessary.  So, time warp forward a few years ... in mid-November of 2011, Leslie and I embarked on the journey to adopt a child from Russia.  It wasn't as if we woke up one day and made this decision, but it was after much research, counsel, discussion, and prayer.  I won't go in to all the why's, when's, and how's in this post, but I am going to "try" and be better about keeping this blog up-to-date with our days, weeks, and months as we move forward on the road to Russia.
