Fun Day

Ya know... we weren't very "productive" today, but it was a good day nonetheless!  We went to church and enjoyed worship together.  ... Today was the day that our adoption was made "public", I guess you'd say.  We haven't really withheld the information, but we hadn't necessarily publicized it either.  Our pastor made an announcement just before interviewing some of our friends about their adoption process with India.

We met met some friends in Ottawa for pizza... they have adopted from China in the past, and are in the process of adopting again from China!  They gave us some great advice re: international travel!  And, our kids got to play together a little bit ... well, at least as much as they can in the confines of a Pizza Hut!  :-)  They really did great for the 2-hours that we were there.

Then, once we came home, I decided to "root" one of our new Nook Colors to behave more as a tablet.  This should've been a relatively simple, quick process... so, about 3 hours later, I had it working!  I was afraid for a bit that I had bricked it!  But, thanks to numerous blogs (I counted 21 open tabs in Google Chrome at one time) and some patience... it's an Android tablet now.  Whoo-hoo!

I know we have plenty of busy-ness ahead of us as we prepare paperwork, prepare to travel, prepare our home, etc, etc, so it was nice to have a (mostly) relaxing day.
