A Referral...

Ok... yes, I know... I know! ... It's been over a month again!  What can I say, the process is a long one, so I've been waiting to add anything until there was actually something to add.  As the heading implies, we now have our referral from Russia!!  We have been matched with a little boy in the St. Peterburg area.  He is 14m old, and we have seen pictures and a video.  Beyond that, there really isn't much more that we are able to really say at this time.
So, what happens now? ... Well, we have officially accepted the referral, but it is not 100% set until we actually travel to Russia, sign some papers, and get assigned a court date... Ie: there is still a chance (although low) that our child could be adopted by a family in Russia.  We should travel between 6-8 weeks after we accept the referral, and it has been about a weeks since we accepted... it will be here before we know it.  Our first trip will last approx 1 week, and we will get to visit with our child numerous times.  So, we are again waiting patiently... and preparing here and there for the trip over to Russia.
